Totem Workshop <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

$485 (includes 10 hours of instruction and access to tools, equipment, etc.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

[+$25 Materials Fee (includes up to 25 lbs of clay, glazes, metal) +$20 Firing Fees (1 Bisque Firing+1 Glaze Firing) +$50 Optional Metal Base] <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 1: (4 hours) I will show you the basics of shaping totem “beads” using hand-building techniques. You’ll learn how to make large animals, “stone” shapes, and a variety of other forms using white and\/or earth-toned clay bodies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 2: (4 hours) I will show you my carving techniques and share my tools with you. Please feel free to bring design ideas, quotes, stencils, etc. I will have a variety of textures and colors available. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

—I’ll Bisque Fire your pieces for you. If you opt to have some of your pieces “clear-coated” with a transparent glossy glaze, I’ll also apply those for you and Glaze Fire your pieces for you.—<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 3: (2 hours) This is the fun assembly day! I’ll have your work fired completely and ready to turn into an actual totem! I can also ship your final pieces to you if you can’t attend this day. Shipping charges will be calculated depending on what you create. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
